Dion Global Solutions becomes part of valantic

Berlin, 04.09.2018. The search for a new home for Dion Global Solutions GmbH was successfully completed in a very short time. Valantic GmbH, software and consulting company from Munich, has taken over the business operations and all employees of Dion Global Solutions. On appointment by the management Restrukturierungspartner have exclusively advised Dion Global Solutions GmbH.

Dion Global Solutions GmbH, which develops and sells system-relevant software solutions for financial institutions, applied for a self-administration procedure at the end of June. The responsible district court in Frankfurt am Main appointed Prof. Dr. Klaus Pannen (Prof. Dr. Pannen Rechtsanwälte) provisional administrator. In order to restore the company's financial stability for the future, the management, supplemented during the restructuring by Marc-Philippe Hornung and Thomas Oberle of SZA Schilling, Zutt & Anschütz, initiated a structured investor process. Restrukturierungspartner provided exclusive advice to the self-administration team. The team of experts led by Dr. Stefan Weniger had approached a large number of national and international investors and conducted intensive negotiations with interested parties. In the end, valantic GmbH was able to assert itself in the investor process.

'Within a very short time, we succeeded in finding a strategic investor in valantic who has a long-term continuation of Dion Global Solutions in mind and who will further develop the company', Dr. Stefan Weniger is pleased to report.

The purchase agreement (signing) was signed at the end of July. After approvement by the cartel office, the closing was completed on September 1. The parties have agreed not to disclose the purchase price.
