Restrukturierungspartner advise insolvency administrators on the sale of K.O.K. Technologies
Bingen, November, 20th 2018. After only a very short time, insolvency administrator Dr. Robert Schiebe has announced an investor for K.O.K. Technologies GmbH. Less than three months after the start of the investor process, which Restrukturierungspartner accompanied exclusively as M&A consultants, wfv Werkzeug-, Formen- und Vorrichtungsbau GmbH & Co. KG has taken over the business operations and the more than 60 employees. In addition, the location in Bingen will be fully continued.
The K.O.K. Technologies GmbH, a CNC manufacturer of precision parts, was forced to file for insolvency at the end of July 2018. K.O.K. manufactures metal components and assemblies primarily for the motor sports sector. Dr. Robert Schiebe (Schiebe und Collegen) had continued business operations in the opening proceedings as provisional insolvency administrator and set up a structured investor process.
As part of the M&A process, the team of Restrukturierungspartner led by managing director Werner Warthorst and project manager Nicolas Knop approached a large number of national and international investors and held intensive negotiations with Dr. Schiebe's team. In the end, wfv Werkzeug-, Formen- und Vorrichtungsbau GmbH & Co. KG was able to assert itself against other bidders. The parties agreed not to disclose the purchase price. wfv specializes in CNC precision technology, assembly and manufacturing, toolmaking and prototype production and is based in Lampertheim, Hesse.
