Initial situation

BEKUM Maschinenfabrik GmbH produced and sold plastic processing machines for the packaging industry. The operating business of the company was deficient. The company was to be restructured and realigned in insolvency protection shield proceedings pursuant to section 270 b InsO.

Services

Restrukturierungspartner supported BEKUM in the preparation and implementation of the insolvency protection proceedings. This included the preparation of integrated corporate plans, operational support during the proceedings and the assumption of a CRO mandate by Burkhard Jung.

Within the scope of the insolvency protection shield proceedings, a complex restructuring process was carried out, including the relocation of production from Berlin to Austria.
