Initial situation

Luitpoldhütte AG is a medium-sized company with a history of more than 100 years, specialised in the production of heavy castings weighing up to 1,000 kg. The foundry had gotten into economic difficulties when ist core market agricultural and construction machinery, steadily deteriorated. The company had to file for insolvency at the end of August of 2015. Restrukturierungspartner were commissioned to manage the transaction process.

Services

Luitpoldhütte was sold to a strategic investor in the course of a 14-week sales process led by Restrukturierungspartner. The Ogepar Group took over all remaining approx. 360 employees and not only maintained the company's location, but also expanded it further.
