Initial situation

The Schneider Mineralöl group traded in fuel and mineral oil and operated a chain of petrol stations. In spring of 2017, the management of Schneider Mineralöl Meissen GmbH, EPT European Partner Tank GmbH, SMM Vermögensverwaltungs- und Beteiligungs-GmbH & Co. KG and BHG Energieservice GmbH had to apply for the opening of insolvency proceedings at the Dresden Local Court (Insolvency Court). Restrukturierungspartner were exclusively commissioned to conduct the investor processes for the four companies of the Schneider Mineralöl Group.

Services

In the course of an eight-week sales process and intensive sales negotiations, the business operations were transferred to an investor exceptionally quickly and the deal was confirmed by the cartel office. The international mineral oil group VARO Energy took over business operations and all employees.

Restrukturierungspartner were responsible for coordinating the entire transaction process. This included:
