Initial situation

Schuhpark Fascies GmbH, based in Warendorf, was a shoe retailer with about 90 shops in Lower Saxony and North Rhine-Westphalia. Declining customer frequencies in city centres and shopping centres led to an earnings and liquidity crisis.

In order to find a suitable investor for the business operations, Schuhpark Fascies GmbH commissioned Restrukturierungspartner to conduct a structured bidding process.

Services

At the end of an M&A process of almost three months, the shares of Schuhpark Fascies GmbH were transferred to the strategic investor Kienast Group by means of an insolvency plan.

Restrukturierungspartner were responsible for coordinating the entire transaction process. This included, among other things:
