Initial situation

TCG Herrmann Präzisionsdruckguss GmbH, a producer of precision components and modules made of aluminium and zinc, came under increasing liquidity pressure due to missed restructuring measures and a failed selling process in spring 2014. Subsequently the management had to file for insolvency proceedings.

Restrukturierungspartner were commissioned to conduct a structured bidding process in order to secure the business operations as part of a transferring restructuring.

Services

In the sales process, more than 1,500 potential national and international industry and financial investors were approached and more than 50 investors participated in the M&A process. In the end, a strategic investor was able to prevail. Rupf Präzisionsdruckguss GmbH took over the production site in Bretten and all 300 employees.
